My Week At London Fashion Week

Well it rained and poured making it rather difficult to get some good street style shots at this LFW. Still it wouldn’t be London without a bit of rain. This season, I got to go the Felder Felder show, which as Dani and Annete Felder described it as ‘Romantic, fearless and modern’, which it certainly was. A mermaid, or rather aquatic ethereal theme ran through the collection, featuring soft shades of turquoise blues.

I also got the chance to check out the Mark Fast show this season, which was great! A 90’s knitted grunge, full of edgy sex appeal, got a thumbs up from me. I especially loved the pop of canary yellow against the darker shades of grey and black.

Lastly I got see some of London’s emerging talent at Fashion International with my friend, Spanish Blogger Monica de Tomas, from Monimoleskine, which featured a selection of designers. I particularly liked Mauritian born Yuvna Kim’s collection, which featured ‘a line of exquisite nude and ivory evening wear, which nods to 1920’s deco jewellery’.
