Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock lately, you will know that Gucci has made a come back with a bang. As Lisa Armstrong mentioned in an article last year ‘ Imagine if Blackberry were to launch a piece of wearable tech that millions of 18-34 year olds actually wanted – and you’re close to the scale of Gucci’s triumph’.
In amongst this array of colour and delight, it got me wondering, where would this Gucci princess live? How would her house be decorated? As mentioned, I’ve moved into working in interior design, and I’m intrigued how both fashion and interior design link. I’ve always been a firm believer of how an outfit is a way of expressing who you are or how you are feeling without saying a word, so should your home reflect your personality.
So I’ve put together an idea of where and how this Gucci girl’s home would look. With rich textures and patterns of pastel pinks, and deep emerald greens, hints of Chinoiserie, and brocade.A bohemian landscape, in a kaleidoscope of dreams and colour.
